Entering Student's Information

  1. Click the Admin Banner link in the Admin Banner channel on the Work Resources tab of My Missouri State.
  2. Log into Admin Banner.
  3. Type SHAINST in the Search... field, then hit the enter key.
  4. Type the student's Bearpass number in the ID field
  5. Tab to the Term field. If you know the semester that the student was suspended, enter the term here in Banner format (YYYYxx: YYYY= four digit designated calendar year, xx= 20 for spring semester, 30 for summer semester, and 40 for fall semester, i.e. 201920 for spring semester 2019) and skip to step 5.  If you don't know the term, follow these steps:
    1. Click on the ellipse symbol next to the term field 


    2. In the Option List, select Term Summary (SHQTERM).


    3.  Click the Start Over button or hit the F5 key on your keyboard.
    4. Make sure that the only information filled in on the top menu us the ID.


    5. Click Go or hit the AltPageDown keys on your keyboard.
    6. Search for the most recent term in the Learner Effective Term column.

      There may be multiple pages of academic standing history.

    7. With the desired term selected, click Select.


  6. Click Go or hit the AltPageDown keys on your keyboard.
  7. Choose the appropriate code from the Scholastic Action Options table below and type that code in the End of Term Academic Standing field.  


  8. Click Save or hit the F10 key on your keyboard.
  9. Click Start Over or hit the F5 key on your keyboard to move to the next student.
