Occasionally, you'll need to clear a student's assignment or test attempt so that they can give it another try. This happens most often when internet time-outs occur and when students accidentally submit the wrong file.

If you wish to view the student's current progress, click View Attempt.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Access the Grade Center.

  2. Locate the assignment or test from the student you need to clear.

  3. Open the contextual menu and click View Grade Details.

  4. Click Clear Attempt.

  5. Click OK if you are sure you wish to clear the test attempt.
