Some websites will need pop-ups to be allowed so that they can load pages properly.

Allowing all websites to have pop-ups is risky, so it is better to set Trusted Sites. The guide for doing so can be found at How to Set Trusted Sites in Google Chrome.

Step-by-step guide

  1. In the upper-right corner, click the menu button

  2. Select Settings.

  3. On this new page, go to the bottom and click the Advanced drop-down menu.

  4. Then, under Privacy and Security, click on Content settings.

  5. Click on Popups.

  6. In the new menu, ensure that the Allowed slider is turned on.

You have now enabled popups in Google Chrome!
