Internet Native Banner will not work on computers running Windows unless run in Internet Explorer 8 or Google Chrome. In Mac OSX, INB will work in both Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari.

  1. Log into the employee portal at http://my.missouristate.edu using your BearPass Login and password. This is the same user name and password you use to access your Missouri State email.
  2. Click the Teaching and Advising tab near the top of the window.


  3. Select the Internet Native Banner channel, and then click the Internet Native Banner link.
  4. Turn off your pop‐up blocker, if it is set. To check your pop‐up blocker settings in Internet Explorer, click Tools ‐> Pop‐Up Blocker ‐> Turn Off Pop‐Up Blocker.

    NOTE

    If this is your first time logging into Internet Native Banner (INB) continue following the steps below; If it is not your first time logging in to INB, skip ahead to step 6.

  5. The first time only that you log into INB on a computer, you will need to complete the following steps:
    1.  You will see a message stating, "This website wants to run the following add‐ons." Right-click this message, and then select Run ActiveX Control from the pop-up menu.


    2. You will see a Security Warning message box will appear. Click Run.


    3. Check the box to the left of the following statement: "Always trust content from the publisher," and then click Run.


  6. Enter your Banner ID in the Username box and Banner Password in the Password box to login to INB. The Database field must be left blank.


  7. If a Security Warning pop-up box appears, make sure to choose not to block components by clicking No.
