Microsoft Exchange for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch
Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch, using software revision 2.0 or later, can be set up to download email messages, calendar information, and contacts from the Outlook Live@EDU Microsoft Exchange email server.
1. Go to the Home menu (yours may look different, depending on how it has been customized), and then press Settings.

2. In the Settings menu, press Mail, Contacts, and Calendars.

3. Press Add Account...

4. Press Microsoft Exchange.

5. Enter your personal information. Email should be your Live@EDU Missouri State email address (PublicID@Live.missouristate.edu). Username should your PrivateID@Live.missouristate.edu (ex. bb123@live.missouristate.edu). The password is the password you chose during the Outlook Live setup. The description can be anything of your choosing. Click Next.
6. Verify the information previously entered, then enter m.outlook.com in the Server field. Click Next.

| NOTE You may need to enter "SGF" (without quotations) in the domain field if the wizard is unable to verify your information. |
7. Move the sliders to the ON position for all of the services you would like to use on your iPhone. Click Done.

Your iPhone is now set up to connect to the Outlook Live Exchange server. It may take a few moments to download all of your data, depending on how much there is to synchronize. You can access your messages by returning to the Home menu and pressing Mail.

Looked at Live@EDU's page on the iPhone: http://help.outlook.com/en-us/141/dd125429.aspx
The touch is running iPod Touch software 3.1.xxxx, so I tried entering the exchange server that my mailbox resolved to (bl2prd0102.outlook.com), but it still didn't work.
I tried all of these options with and without SGF in the domain.
