DataBlock Designer Resources- This is a quick guide to help DataBlock designers with getting started in DataBlock design

  • Data Sources-A list of available Banner and ODS data sources by the database and a description of what is in each database.
  • MSU Logos- MSU Logo images that can be used in DataBlock and Reports.
  • DataBlock Documentation by Department- Departmental documentation on how to run a Report or DataBlock.

  • Argos Open Lab Every Friday - Held every Friday, this class will allow you to get one-on-one attention while you are working on Argos reports or DataBlocks. Bring your reports and DataBlocks and get assistance. There is no need to register for this session. Just show-up.  

Report Writer Resources - This is a quick guide to help user get started writing their own reports.

  • Report Checklist - Use this checklist to help organize your thoughts about the new report.
  • Report Naming Codes - The report code will be the first part of the report name followed by a space or an underscore ("_"). The remainder of the report name is at the report creator's discretion. The report description can be used for additional documentation.
  • Report Writer Quick Reference- The following are quick guides to get you started in Argos Report Writing and DataBlock Design, as well as some quick and helpful tips and tricks to keep you going along the way.
