Several errors can occur during the logging in process of INB. You may get stuck on a white screen or you might be just getting a white screen at log on. Problems with JAVA or your password often cause these problems when logging in. Banner applications may be accessed from

Solution 1 - Expired Password
  1. Navigate to CAMS-Change Password and click Change your database password.
  2. Select the correct database instance (i.e. PROD, ODSPROD, etc.).
    1. PROD is used by INB, ODSPROD is used by Argos.
  3. Enter the proper information to reset your password.
Solution 2 - Internet Explorer Trusted Sites
  1. Open Internet Explorer (not Edge!!)
  2. Click Tools --> Internet Options
  3. Click the Security tab
  4. In the Select a Web content zone to specify its current security settings box, click Trusted Sites, and then click Sites.
    1. Click to clear the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone check box.
  5. Add the following sites to the list:
    1. - for INB
    2. - BDMS
    3. - PROD
    4. - Argos
Solution 3 - Corrupted Java Installation
  1. In the Control Panel, open Programs and Features.
  2. Uninstall any Java related products (Java, JRE, JDK).
  3. Still in the Control Panel, open Folder Options.
  4. Then the View tab .
  5. Then select Show hidden files, folders, and drive.

  6. Browse to C:\Users\username\AppData and look for any "Sun" folder in Local, LocalLow, and Roaming folders for any and all users who use the computer. 
  7. Delete the Sun folder.
  8. Download and install Java 7 Update 25 from this site.
  9. After Java is installed, browse to .
  10. Click on Internet Native Banner(INB).
  11. You should see a yellow bar pop up as shown below. 
  12. Right-click and select Run add-on.

    A security warning will pop up, select Run.

  14. A second security warning will pop up. 
  15. Check Always trust content from this publisher and click run.
  16. After you sign in to INB, a third security warning will pop up.
  17. Click No.

  18. If yes is clicked, then the INB toolbars will not show!

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Under the Programs and Features section.
  3. Select Uninstall a Program.
  4. find Java in the list and uninstall the java updates listed.
  5. Download correct java from this site.
  6. Run download and install on machine.
Solution 4 - Locked Account

After the other two options are exhausted, and you still receive the white screen, contact the Computer Services Helpdesk to see if your database account is locked.
