Technician Assisted Support for Faculty

Technical support for faculty will be provided by the Turning Technologies Campus Intern. Their office is located on the east side of the first floor of Meyer Library, in the hallway behind the Bear CLAW. The phone number is (417) 836-3276. You may also contact them by email at:

Training Information

There are many training resources available for faculty interested in using the Turning Technologies NXT and QT system. Formal training sessions are available through My Learning Connection. Instructions for using My Learning Connection.

In addition, one-on-one training is available through the Turning Technologies Campus Intern on an appointment basis. You may contact them by email at or by calling the intern desk at 417-836-3276.


Faculty should download and install the software to their office computers prior to meeting for training. Software will be installed in the classroom indicated on the Clicker Adoption Form prior to the beginning of the semester.

Turning Technologies provides a solution for visually-impaired students. ResponseCard RF-Accessibility is a radio frequency keypad designed for the visually impaired. The keypad contains all the features and functionality of ResponseCard RF, but with Braille characters adjacent to the corresponding buttons. In addition, ResponseCard RF-Accessibility includes a vibration motor that pulses when various actions occur.

The ResponseCard RF-Accessibility does not support self-paced testing. Students interested in ResponseCard RF-Accessibility should fill out and submit a Request for Accommodation to the Disability Resource Center.

Information Security
