Before uploading the banner image, we recommend viewing the How to Create a Banner in PowerPoint for Your Course article.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Under the Control Panel, click Customization, and then click Teaching Style. You will see the style settings page.

  2. Scroll to the Select Banner section at the bottom of the page, and then click Browse My Computer to search for an image.

  3. Browse your files for the banner image you wish to use, and then click Open.
  4. Enter alternative text in the Banner Alt Text box to make the Banner image accessible.
  5. When you have your image attached, click Submit. You will see a purple success message at the top of the screen.

  6. To view the banner, click the Course Name at the top of the screen.

Banner images must be uploaded from a local file, you cannot attach from course files.
