Occasionally, it becomes necessary to clear all the cookies, cached items, and other accumulated stuff that has suddenly rendered your web browser unusable in some way. While it is typically best to clear these items one at a time to find the cause of the problem, clearing them all at once can help expedite the process in one click.

This guide will work for both Windows and Mac computers.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Click the menu button on the top right of your browser window.

  2. Select Library > History.

  3. Click Clear Recent History...

  4. Set the time range to clear to Everything.

  5. Check the boxes for Cache and Cookies. Then click Clear Now.

You have successfully cleared your cache and cookies.
