The Blank Page features allows you to add content via the Text Editor to a Blank Page in Blackboard. Many users create Blank Pages to display a custom home screen or welcome message in their course.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Click the Plus to expand the Add Menu Item list, and then click Create a Blank Page.

  2. In the Name box, type a name for the new page.

  3. Check the Available to Users check box, and then click Submit. The new page appears on the course menu.

    If you do not select the Available to Users check box, you will need to set the Availability for the page.

  4. Using the Rich Text Editor, add content for the new page.
  5. When you are finished, click Submit.
