Pages of an indexed document can be copied or moved to a new batch, to a new document, or to an existing document.  The user must have the ability to scan and add pages in order to copy a page to a new or existing document.  If moving a page, the user must also have the ability to delete pages.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open the image that contains the pages to be copied or moved.  
  2. From the Document menu, choose Copy or Move Pages
  3. Enter the following information in the fields that appear:
    1. Document Page List to Move or Copy to New Batch - Enter the page number(s) of the pages that will be copied or moved.
    2. Include page versions - Check this box if there are multiple versions of any of the pages and the versions also need to be copied or moved.
    3. Target Application - If the pages will be part of the same application, the application name should default.  If the pages will be moved to a different application, choose the appropriate application from the list.  Only applications that the user has access to will appear in the list.
    4. Target Batch Name - Accept the default or change the name of the batch that will hold the pages until they are indexed.
    5. Index New Batch Document - If the documents will be immediately indexed, check this box.  Otherwise they will go to the batch named in the previous field. 
  4. Choose either to Move or Copythe pages.
    1. Move will remove the pages from the existing document.
    2. Copy will leave the pages in the existing document and make a copy of them for the new document or batch. 
  5. Depending on the information entered and which option was chosen, one of the following will occur:
    1. If Index New Batch Document was not checked, you will be returned to the document image view.  A new batch containing the images will be in the Batch List.
    2. If Index New Batch Document was checked, a set of blank index fields will appear.  Complete these fields to index the document.
    3. If you chose Move and all pages of the document are being moved to a batch, you will be returned to the application list. 

At this point, you may need to either re-index the batch, or attach the batch pages to an existing document index.
