Use this guide to connect to wireless on your Android device. Each version of Android and each model of Android device will have a different look and design for settings, so the screenshots may not look exactly like what your device will display. However, the information to connect to the wireless is the same regardless of version.

Which Network to Use:

MSU: Living Off Campus
MSU Open: Visiting in the PSU, Welcome Center, or Library
MSU ResNet: Living On Campus
MSU Sponsored: Departmental Guest Speaker Access (Must get key from Networking and Telecommunication)


Step-by-step guide

  1. On your device, navigate to Settings.

  2. From Settings, tap Wi-Fi and make sure the bar is toggled to On.

  3. From the list of available networks, tap MSU.

  4. Your screen will now show the MSU setup page.
    You will need to enter in the following information:

    • Phase 2 Authentication: None
    • CA Certificate: (unspecified)
    • User Certificate: (unspecified)
    • Identity: Bearpass Login
    • Anonymous Identity: Leave this blank
    • Password: Bearpass Password

    Your screen should now look similar to the one below:

  5. Tap Connect.
