Mac user's sometimes receive a "Upload Blocked   You are required to sign in to upload your changes to this location" ribbon when attempting to open Word, PowerPoint, or Excel documents from OneDrive. 

  1. The error will appear similar to the picture below.
  2. Make sure all Microsoft Applications are completely closed, and have user save their currently open documents.
  3. If they are not closed:
    1. Click on the apple button in the top left.
    2. Click the "Force Quit" Option
    3. Make sure to Force Quit all Office Apps.
  4. Have the user sign into their email.
  5. Click the "Install Office" drop down, and then select the "Other Install options"
  6. Under the "My Installs" box, select the installs drop down.
  7. Deactivate the user's license for the appropriate device.
  8. Click on the orange "Install Office" button.
  9. After Install is completed, have user open Word, PowerPoint, or Excel and activate their license with their email sign in.
