Funding results: FY2010 Thru February: As of the end of February 2010, the University had submitted 170 proposals for support of University-based projects. To date, 130 awards have been received – some of which are from proposals submitted during the previous fiscal year. The commitment of funds in these grants and contracts to date is $13.4 million.
The Task Force on American Innovation today unveiled a new website, www.innovationtaskforce.org, which offers fresh and comprehensive information on federal policies and appropriations for key agencies that fund research in the physical sciences, engineering, and mathematics. Missouri State University received 196 grants in Fiscal Year 2009, which ended June 30. The grants generated $20,901,035 in additional resources for the university, according to the office of sponsored research and programs. The 196 grants represent an increase of 18 percent over last year's awards. See details on the FY 2009 funding.
