In this Designing Engaging Content documentation, we explore ways to design and incorporate engaging content in your Blackboard course. Topics covered include: customizing Blackboard themes and menu styles, setting up and working with MyEDU, adding media files such as images, audio and video, using mashups for YouTube and Flicker, and engaging students through creating Achievement badges.

The videos below are taken from the Designing Engaging Content section of the Learning Management System Resources for Faculty organization available on Blackboard. Designing Engaging Content is the first of three courses needed to complete the Black Belt Level of the Computer Services Blackboard Black Belt Series. For a more formalized training, feel free to watch these videos within Blackboard and take the corresponding quizzes to complete the Blackboard Black Belt Series training.
